Gyan Bharti Residential Complex, Bodh Gaya, Gaya Review Gyan Bharti Residential Complex was established in 1988 in the place of Knowledge and Enlightenment, namely Bodh Gaya. At the time when it was established there was a huge craze of this school among students as well as parents. Every one wanted to get their wards admit in G.B.R.C.
However, now things have changes and there are many reason responsible for this reverse mood of students and teachers. Also, many other schools are there in this city which are also providing high quality education to students along with many other facility. Many teachers too left this school because they were not getting paid as expected.
Still this school is running and there are good numbers of students but now the school is not providing the same quality education for which it was known for. There are laboratories but they are rarely used by students. Also they are outdated. Most of the computers in computers labs are also outdated. They are still using Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
The school rarely organizes any cultural programs. There are no special classes for music, drama, karate, swimming, Yoga etc.
The condition of playground is somewhat good and students are still doing good at sports and games. Every year the school participates in a large number of athlete meets and sports events organised across the city and state.
There is also a boys hostel with average facility. There is a canteen which provides pure and hygienic food along with snacks but charges higher than the MRP.
