The college is situated in the heart of the city and has continuous and very good transport facilities.
The college also has a very good administration which follows strict rules.
The students are disciplined and are made to follow the rules.
The college has very good experienced teaching faculty.
The college campus placements are not so high but they may increase as the quality of education provided by the college is good.
The only drawback about this college is that it is being over strict with students.After coming to engineering nobody still wants to be totally binded by rules and regulations.
Would recommend this college to students who are serious about studies and to for those, only studies is their world

About college
Swamy Vivekananda Institute of Technology was established in the year 2004. This college was established with an objective to provide quality educaton to its students, to create or establish a knowledge base society. SVIT is located at secunderabad, at center of the city. SVIT is known for best quality teaching, providing to their students. The different departments available in this college are:
- Computer science and engineering
- Mechanical engineering
- Information Technology
- Electronics and communication engineering
- Electrical and Electronics engineeering
Labs
SVIT provides a good lab facilities to its students. The lab faculty are really good and provides a detailed explanation about each topic.
Placements
Most of the students consider the college placements as priority before taking admission into any college. But in case of placements SVIT is not that much good. SVIT is in procees to provide better placements to its sudents.
Transportation
SVIT doesnt provide any transport facilities to the students. As this college is present in center of the city, there are many city buses from almost all areas of the city to this college. So there will be is no transportation problem for the students.
Plus and Minus points
The major plus points of this college are, it is loacted at the center of the city and provides quality education. The major minus points of this college are, less placements, no payground, improper maintainance. It is very strict in terms of discipline. For the students who wants to enjoy by playing sports in free time it is not the right choice. And for the stuents who wants a quality education it is the right choice.
