About Shikshantar School
Shikshantar is a proposed senior secondary school. At present, the school conducts classes for Playgroup, Nursery, KG, Classes I to VIII. School will add classes each year till it reaches class XII.
Since April '03 till now (i.e. July 2008), there are total 28 class groups and a staff strength of about 150 committed people working to make the Shikshantar reality happen on a day-to-day basis. The sixth school year at Shikshantar commenced for children on 26th March 2008.
Shikshantar began its first school year on the 2nd of April, 2003 for children enrolled in Playgroup, Nursery, Kindergarten and Class I. To celebrate the day, Shikshantar planted a banyan tree in the rear portion of the primary block. Planted by the Shikshantar team, the children and the parents, the event was symbolic of the first step taken together by the growing Shikshantar family.
As another year progresses and the school grows from strength to strength, Shikshantar continues to plan meaningful events for children to experience the wonder of discovering life and the joy of sharing.Admissions for 2024 - 2025 Academic YearPlease contact the school directly for the admission procedure in specific schools.
The school has been established in September 2002. It provides excellent environment and infrastructure to the students. The teaching faculty is very good. The students get opportunity to participate in various extra-curricular activities. The students are taken to various expeditions and study tours. The admission for the academic year takes place during the month of August of the previous academic year. Shikshantar school is a co-educational school. It is affiliated to ICSE and ISC.
The performance of the school in the ICSE and ISC examinations has been improving gradually.
