About Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kottayam School
Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kottayam was established as a part of Chinmaya mission started by Swami Chinmayananda. It was started with a mission of change the students in the school into a complete humanbeings. In this school every child is taken utmost care and teachers will help them to explore their hidden talent and encourage them. It was established in an area of 2 acres and good play ground facility. Here the student to teacher ratio is 20:1 which is very good now a days. Teaching is done by experienced faculty in a smart way using LCD projectors to make students understand the subject well. There is a big library with over 1000 volumes of books which contains even spiritual books too. Educational tours are conducted periodically and there are good laboratory facilities and students are allowed to experiment with their ideas.
