About Jeevan Marg Sophia Secondary School
Jeevan Marg Sophia Secondary School was established in the year 1972 by Diocese of Varanasi. In the year 1973, he requested Mission Sisters of Ajmer to take the responsibility of the school. And Sister Maria, joined the school as the first principal. In the beginning years, the school was named, Jeevan Marg Convent School. In the year 1997, it was renamed with the current name. It is the first English medium c0-educational school of Deoria. The school is affiliated to CISCE, New Delhi. In the year 1984, the first batch appeared for class X examination.
Infrastructure
The school premises has three different buildings for kindergarten section, primary section and secondary section. There is small park for kids for kindergarten and primary section. Music room, dance room, art and craft room are also present. The classrooms are spacious and have good air-ventilation. There is a basket ball court and a large playground for different sports. The labs and library are well-equipped and well-stocked.
Staff
