About Birla High School For Boys
Birla High School For Boys was established in 1941 by Vidya Mandir Society. Earlier, being a Hindi-medium school was transformed into a English-medium school in 1997. The motto of the school is 'Lead Us from Darkness to light' .

Infrastructure
The school is beautifully constructed in a wide area with well-ventilated and spacious classrooms which are beautifully coloured. Classrooms are equipped with the latest technology smart boards for enhanced learning and video recorders are installed to facilitate absentees so that they can carry on their studies through online video lectures.
Each classroom has a reading island, this can be understood as a shelf that is constructed creatively in the form of a bus or huts.
Stairs are also beautifully painted with mathematical facts so that students can learn in a better way through visual aids. This not only revises classroom concepts but also represents creativity. To inculcate good values among students corridors walls are painted with good thoughts and moral values.
The school has a mathematics lab and an IT lab. The IT lab is equipped with all sorts of facilities and has forty computers. Also, there is a smartboard and internet connectivity on all computers. There are physics, chemistry, and biology laboratories for class 9th onwards, one mathematics and two computer laboratories.
School provides door-to-door bus facilities to students. To ensure the safety of students CCTV cameras are installed in the buses and connected with a GPS tracking system. Parents are automatically informed by the way of SMS when students reach school and also when they board the bus again from school.
The school has a very huge auditorium with a capacity of 750 persons at one time. The auditorium is named "vidya mandir" at which most of the interschool competitions are held.
It has a new way of teaching far away from traditional blackboards and strongly represents the application of technology in the field of education. The school conducts tablet classes from class 7th onwards for the subjects namely physics, chemistry and biology.
It has an infirmary that helps to cope up with any emergency. The infirmary has a nurse, beds, and oxygen kits. Moreover, there is the frequent visit of a doctor who examines the health status of students and records them on the health care.
The school canteen takes care of hygiene while preparing and serving tasty food. Charges are very reasonable at the school canteen with high-quality food and snacks.
