Anglo Urdu Girls' High School started in 1937 and working in the direction of improvement of females in our society. The unique feature of school is its Urdu medium of education which attracts lower middle class families where parents and kids are not well through with other languages.
The school is now having glorious history of more than 50 years and girls from this school always secure good position in topper's list for SSC Pune division.
The school has Board of Trustee's and committee to look after the management of school.

Admission details

For admission 5th and 8th standards, students who have passed their previous class from Urdu medium school with computer as one of the subject are eligible. Every year during the month of May they open the admission process which includes written and oral tests of interested students.

Fee structure

Being a trustee managed school; the fee structure is quite low in comparison with other schools. It is below 100/- for 5th to 8th standards and for 9th and 10th is around Rs. 125/-. They also have some additional fee for Computers but that is again very reasonable (Rs. 300/- for all classes).

Activities at school

The school focuses equally on curricular and extracurricular activities. These activities include Sport activities like champion ships tournaments, handwriting competitions, creative competitions like for animation and many more. They also arrange E.V.S. workshops, scholarship programmes and other social events for students.

Information Communication Technology Academy

They have Maharashtra Government approves ICT course and every year they conduct the classes for the same. This is a boon for parents who cannot afford the costly technical courses for their daughters.

Infrastructure details

If we talk about the infrastructure of the school, they have fully furnished classrooms for every class. They have well equipped with advanced technology computer labs and other science labs for their students.
Their library has combination of academics books, language books, dictionaries and other related books. Apart from these facilities, they also have a huge playground and a hygienic canteen to facilitate proper physical growth of students.

The school has 2 sessions and 5th to 8th standard students come in morning session (7.30 a.m. sharp to 12.20 p.m.) and students of 9th and 10th standard come in afternoon shift (12.30 p.m. to 5.35 p.m.).
