Pawar Public School has many branches in Mumbai and Pune and is managed by Pawar Public Charitable Trust. These schools are run with an aim to serve the kids of less privileged families and that is the reason the school fee is comparatively lower than other schools.
Smt. Supriya Sule is the current Managing Trustee of the Pawar Charitable Trust who looks after the schools and focuses on creating successful leaders by giving the students right values and leadership qualities. The school is affiliated to the ICSE board, New Delhi with affiliation number “MA 128".
Infrastructure and facilitiesThe school is equipped with all the necessary teaching aids and infrastructure required for its smooth functioning.
- Library-The school library is available for all students, administrative staff and even for the parents in certain cases. It has more than 18,000 reference books, reading books, textbooks, charts, maps and CDs on different subjects. It also has a good collection of competitive exam papers, four computers with internet and is fully automated with SLIM-21 software. The facility of OPAC can be accessed through the school website only.
Apart from the collection of books, the library has a subscription of around 35 magazines and 9 newspapers. You can also find various books on general knowledge, travel, encyclopaedias, art and craft, history, languages and many more.
- Auditorium The auditorium of the school was started in 2008 with the name of “MPH- Multipurpose Hall". It is used for various activities including annual days, farewell functions, exhibitions, workshops, sports activities, skating, yoga sessions, etc.
- Sports facilities The school supports physical growth of the students along with their mental growth. hence has facilities for football, basketball, lawn tennis, skating, kho-kho, badminton, yoga and athletes. apart from sports facilities, the school has also included physical education as an optional subject in 9th and 10th standard.
- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology labs The school has well-equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology. These labs provide opportunities to learn through hands-on experience and have flat-topped tables to be used as workstations. The chemistry lab is especially spacious to accommodate around 48 gas burners with full safety.
- Computer lab There are 2 computer labs with 90 computers in all. These are available for primary and secondary class students. These computers are upgraded with the required software for learning in accordance with the ICSE curriculum. All the computers are having a broadband connection to provide internet facilities for academic purposes. Students can learn various programs and software like MS-Office, Windows, MS-Access, Applnventer, etc.
