The New Green Field Public Academy is a higher secondary school located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. A CBSE affiliated school, it provides schooling from nursery to class 12. Established way back in 1984 by Smt. Kripa Devi Mittal, the school has now grown up as one of the top schools in Indore. The school not only aims to excel in academics and co-curricular activities but also focuses on value education for all-round development of the students.
Infrastructure Among the facilities available at this school are spacious classrooms with natural ventilation, activity hall, wide corridors and audio-visual rooms for multimedia presentations and workshops. The laboratories are equipped with the latest equipment and the library has a large number of books of all genres. Surprisingly, there are books not only in English and Hindi but in Bengali as well. There is even a Maths lab that makes learning mathematics a fun-filled activity. The mathematical models, geometrical shapes and tools in the lab help the students to grasp the concepts very easily.
Extra-curricular activities like art & craft, dance, music, photography, public speaking and dramatics are routine and given due importance. Numerous cultural fests and exhibitions are organized at regular intervals. Most of the national festivals are celebrated. The school has a large playground for sports like football, cricket, volleyball and basketball. Martial arts like Judo and Karate are also taught. Annual sports meet and inter-school competitions are a regular feature at this school. To bring in a healthy competitive spirit among the students, they are distributed into four houses.
Among other things, the transport facility can be availed by the students. There are provisions for medical care in case any student feels unwell. Also, free medical and eye check-up is carried out once a year by specialist doctors.
Admissions For admissions, parent may visit the school office. Admission forms to be filled up and submitted along with necessary documents like a copy of the date of birth certificate and a few passport-sized photographs of the child. For KG1 and nursery, the admissions get open in January itself. As for the age criteria, for admission to nursery, the child should complete 2 and a half year and for KG1, 3 and a half year by 1st of July of that year.
For higher classes, the admissions are based on vacancies. For class 11, the students can take up either the science or the commerce stream. The science stream has both medical and non-medical options. The allotment of the stream will be based on the marks obtained by the students in their class 10 board exams.
