Hindu Public School, Hyderabad, was founded in the year 1968 in a small way and today it is offering classes from nursery to class XII. It is affiliated with CBSE and English is the medium of instruction. From class I to X it has Languages, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science as curricula while in class XI and XII it has Languages, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Accountancy, Economics, and Business Studies.
FacilitiesSchool has full-fledged laboratories in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Maths, and Computer areas.
There are many cultural and other extracurricular activities which are being undertaken by the students round the year and for these purposes, two auditoriums are available in the school.
There is an NCC activity in the school for the boys as well as girls and about 200 students are trained in it every year. Attaining a certificate and proficiency in it helps students in carving out a career in the defense sector or Govt sector wherever there are credit marks given for these certifications.
AdmissionsAge Criteria - The guidelines for the minimum age limit for the candidates for admission to various classes as considered on 30th June of the academic year are as follows -
1. Pre-Primary - I: 2 years 6 months.
2. Pre-Primary - II ( LKG): 3 years 6 months.
3. Pre-Primary - III (UKG): 4 years 6 months.
4. Class - I: 5 years 6 months.
Application forms and prospectus for admission are available in the school office between 9 AM to 4 PM on working days. These are to be filled completely and to be submitted to the school office by the stipulated date. The advertisement for admissions is made in the local newspapers in the months of November-December for the academic session starting next year from the mid of March month.
Admission in Nursery, LKG & UKG - Admission to these classes is made subject to the available seats and on the basis of the personal interview of the child and Parents.
Admission for Class I to XII - Admission to these classes is subject to the available vacancies and the candidates have to pass a proficiency test after which the admission committee will decide for admission. The candidates have to pay the admission fee and also provide the following documentary evidence before their admission is considered as complete -
1. Certificate for date of birth.
2. Transfer Certificate and Character Certificate from an earlier institute.
3. Candidates seeking admission in class IX or X should produce a certificate that they had earlier studied the English language and also one of the languages out of Hindi / Sanskrit.
4. Caste certificate wherever applicable.
5. Two recent passport-size photographs.
