The Army Public School, Mumbai is a CBSE English medium school established by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). Education is imparted from Std.I to Std.XII.
School Campus The APS Mumbai campus is a beautiful one, spread over 3 acres in natural green surroundings. Labs include: 3 science labs, an arts & craft lab and a computer lab. There is also a library, audio-visual room and an auditorium. There is also a huge playground for outdoor sports, besides indoor sports areas.
School Clubs A number of clubs encourage students to enjoy their hobbies and showcase their innate talent. These include: Nature club, Philately club, Music club, Arts club, Interact club, Debate & Elocution club.
Extra-curricular activities The school's students participate in inter-school quiz, debate, athletics and other competitions and many of them have won accolades for their school. Students also take part in unique projects, such as maintaining a self-introspection diary and creating a vermiculture pit for recycling waste.
Unique features - The APS Mumbai conducts an English bridge course in the morning school hours to help students who are weak in English. Students who have intermediate and higher English skills also take up the course to develop cognitive thinking skills.

- There is no homework and no formal exams for students of Class I to Class V.
- In all classes, the curriculum includes value education, computer science, music, games and co-curricular activities

Admission Procedure APS Mumbai gives priority to children of serving Army personnel, those of ex-servicemen of the Army, those of service Air Force and Navy personnel, etc. However, children of non-Armed Forces personnel can also apply. Those who apply for admission from a non-Army public school will have to appear for an entrance test which is based on the CBSE syllabus. Transfer certificate and other attested documents will need to be submitted along with the admission application form.
