Jawahar Higher Secondary School was established in the year 1968 by Jawahar Education Society. It is an English medium day school which offers education from KG to Class 12. Activities To develop the interest of the students in co-curricular activities, the school has various clubs. Each student must join 2 clubs of their choice and have to attend all the activities conducted by the clubs they have chosen. The clubs that are functioning in the school are Maths club, Science club, Tamil club, Eco club, Social club, Computer club, Photography club, English club, Quiz club, Fine arts club and Philately club.
