Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gole Market, New Delhi was established in January 1970. It works in two shifts and imparts education up to 10+2 in all three streams - Science, Commerce and Humanities in both the shifts.
Facilities The school has 60 class rooms, 22 E-class rooms, a language lab, three science labs, two computer labs, a library, gym, skating rink, lawn tennis court, basket ball court, kho-kho ground, foot ball ground, athletics ground and a volley ball court.
In the three computer labs, there are 114 computers for the 2778 students of first shift. The computers are connected to the internet by two broadband connections of 4 MBPS speed each. In addition, the school has 12 LCD projectors, 12 interactive boards and 12 visualisers. The office staff too has access to four computers.
For all round development of students, the students are encouraged to take part in various house activities and competitions such as dance, music, recitation, calligraphy, drawing, painting, debates and declamation, etc.
