About Kendriya Vidyalaya, Vikas Puri, New Delhi School

Kendriya Vidyalaya Vikas Puri made a modest beginning from a humble initiative in 1988 in tents up to class V in 4.5 acres of land. Kendriya Vidyalaya Vikas Puri is civil sector school situated in Village Hastal in west Delhi District in state of Delhi

Since then, the school has grown into a beautiful 4-storeyed building with lush green sprawling grassy grounds, Eco gardens and bio-park. It caters to the needs of 2062 students in I shift running in 3 sections upto class II ,4 sections up to class X and 6 sections in XI & XII with 3 sections for Science, 2 sections for Commerce & 1 section for Humanities streams. Second shift is also operational for the past five years in three sections up to class XI and XII running 2 sections for science stream and 1 section for commmerce stream with strength of 1301 students.
