Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF Camp Chhawla, New Delhi was established on 20 August 1986 among tin sheds provided by the BSF. In Jan 2007, the school got its own permanent and pucca building on 7 acres of land. Since 2007-08, the school is imparting education up to 10+2 in all the three streams - Science, Commerce and Humanities.
Facilities The school has 36 class rooms, four Labs (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Junior Science Lab), three Computer Labs, three Yoga Rooms, one Work Experience Room, one Sports Room, one Staff Room, one Principal Room and one Examination Room. The school has facilities for Volley Ball, Kabbadi, Kho-Kho, Basket Ball, Football, Badminton and separate rooms for Carom Board, Chess and Table Tennis.
The school has three computer labs for 1228 students (classes III to XII). The three labs have a broadband connection of 4 Mbps speed for 87 computers. There is one computer for every 14 students. For interactive learning, the school has 29 LCD Projectors and 12 interactive boards. For office staff, there are two computers. - Gypsy
