About Avalon Heights International School
Avalon Heights International School was set up in 2000. Its motto is Aspire, Attempt, and Achieve. Director of the School: Simi Sharma. The school has classes from Kindergarten to Std. X.
In Stds. IX and X the subjects are: English, any second Language, History, Civics, and Geography are compulsory subjects. Students can choose between any two subjects from group II (such as Mathematics, Science, Economics, Computer Science, Commercial Studies, Environmental Science, etc.) and a choice of one subject from group III (Arts, Home Science, Performing Arts, etc.) for the I.C.S.E. Board. Likewise, the option for the International Boards will be provided once chosen.
Campus Infrastructure & Facilities include Science Labs, Computer Lab, Art Room, Library, and Playground.
AdmissionsThe application form for admission to this school in any class is to be obtained from the school office by paying the fee. The application form is to be completely filled and has to be deposited in the school office along with the photocopies of the following documents -
- Birth certificate of the candidate.
- The school reports of the last 3 years, if applicable.
- Registration Fee through cheque or demand draft drawn in favour of 'Avalon Heights International School', and payable at Mumbai.
The admission process consists of an admission test and meeting with the parents and after that, only the admission would be granted. For class 1 to 3, the test would be held in English, Maths, and Hindi while for class 4 and above it would be held in the subjects English, Hindi, Maths, and Science.
At the time of finalization of admission, the parents should bring the original certificates for confirmation. These certificates are a Birth certificate, TC from the earlier institute, Pass certificate of earlier class, Medical report by a certified medical practitioner, etc. The parents will have to deposit the school fees and also will have to sign an agreement agreeing to the child's confirmation of the rules and regulations of the school.
FacilitiesSchool gives emphasis on physical development programs like sports, Yoga, and games. Different programs are designed for different level students for their multi-facet development.
Every year there is a medical check-up of the students and the talks on health, hygiene, and nutrition are arranged regularly.
