About La Martiniere Boys College School

La Martiniere was founded by a French Soldier Major General Claude Martin. The School has three branches Lucknow, Kolkata and Lyon (France). There is separate Girls and Boys School in Lucknow and Kolkata whereas the one in Lyon is a co-ed school.
The School in Lucknow came into existence on 1st October 1845. It is the only school in the world to have been awarded royal battle honours for its role in the defence of Lucknow during the mutiny of 1857.
