RSK Higher Secondary School was started in the year 1964. Previously the school was managed by the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel (1964-2006), Global Indian Education foundation (2006-2011) and Dr. K.K.R's Gowtham concept Schools (2011-2016). At present, the school is managed by Paavai Varam Educational Trust. RSK Higher secondary school offers education from KG to class XII as per the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). RSK higher secondary school has achieved a lot in academics, sports and other extra-curricular activities.
AcademicsRSK School is affiliated to CBSE board from LKG to class XII. The school offers quality education to the students by conducting theoretical and practical classes. The students from the school are allowed to appear for All India Secondary School Examination (X CBSE) and All India Senior School Certificate Examination (XII CBSE). The school also offers state board education, only for class XI and XII. The students can switch over their board in class XI or can continue their education in CBSE board.

InfrastructureRSK higher Secondary school has a wide spread campus with spacious classrooms and smart classrooms with digital resources such as LCD, projectors and audio-visual devices. To provide practical education to the students, the school has well-furnished and well-equipped physics, chemistry, biology and computer labs. The computer lab of the school has many computers with high speed processors and internet connection. The school library has text books, reference books, story books and GK books. The library has a furnished reading room where the students can sit and read the books available in the library. The school has a large playground and facilities to play indoor and outdoor games.
ActivitiesThe school gives equal importance to academics and other activities. The school divides the students into four houses (Cauvery House, Ganga House, Krishna House and Yamuna House) while conducting sports events. The students of class VIII and IX are allowed to join NCC and the school has one girls' NCC wing and one boys' NCC division. The school has many clubs such as social service club, eco club, health and wellness club, language club, heritage club, sports club, fine arts club and science club. All the clubs conduct many student activities regularly. The Literary and Debating Association of the school conducts many extra-curricular activities, co-curricular activities and competitions such as English elocution, mime, pencil sketching, collage making, creative writing, vegetable carving, calligraphy, etc.
