The school is situated inside LAB QTRS(DRDL), a walkable distance from midhani bus depot.The school has well qualified teachers and staff.The school is one of the branches among more tham 1000 branches and is under KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA SANGHATAN. The school is a central government undertaken school.KVS comes under central government and was initiated for central govt employees who get transferred every now and then.The school is a DRDL project partnered with the govt of india,hence is large in terms of area as compared to the private schools in state.The school also has the "SCOUTS and GUIDES" but does not provide NCC training.
The fees is very low about 10,000 for non defense personnel and even low for defense personnel.If the parents have a single girl child they don't need to pay any fees at all.The students are mostly from different parts of india and hence they get a good exposure of hindi speaking and other things in their early life.
The school encourages extra curricular activities and encourages sports activities among students.The students who study there are very good at playing football.
I have been a student of that school and assure you that you would get the best overall education at a very low price.
