Kendriya Vidyalaya spread all over India. These schools are operated by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan under Ministry of HRD, India. This is co-educational and affiliated to CBSE and NCERT. These schools cater education to the children of transferable central government personnel. It runs classes from primary to higher secondary. Till now not all Kendriya Vidyalayas but some of the schools are implemented with pre-primary education. Sanskrit language is being taught here for classes 5th to 9th. Fees charged is minor.

Kendriya Vidyalaya 2 AFS situated inside the area of Air Force Station, 25 Ed in Devlali around 8 kms from Devlali railway station and 9 kms from Devlali camp. This is easily accessible.

Infrastructure, facilities and activities

School campus comprises extended 2 storey school building and a spacious ground in front. This ground used for multipurpose.

Infrastructure consists of sufficient number of classrooms, well equipped library, laboratories (separate labs for physics, chemistry and biology) with all modern equipments required, junior science laboratory for secondary section, well facilitated computer room with adequate number of computers, hardware and software , mathematics laboratory, sports room, drawing room, music room and audio visual room.

Spacious ground expanded in front of school building is of multiple use. It is used as playground and also as an open hall for event or function organization. Annual day, Republic day etc are celebrated here.

KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan) national sports meet gets organized every year. Students participate with zeal. Sports include handball, skating, athletics, badminton, basketball, rowing, kayaking, coxless and other indoor games like chess.

NCC, Scout and guide training provided here. Various activities are involved in scout and guide training. Also they actively participate in rallies to collect funds for charitable or generous cause.
