About Atomic Energy Central School-1, Tarapur

AECS-1, Tarapur, is run by the ATOMIC ENERGY EDUCATION SOCIETY(AEES), an autonomous body under the Department of Atomic Energy(DAE), Government of India. It is the first DAE school to be setup. It is also the first of the three AECS schools setup in Tarapur. Aecs-1 has classes from 10th to 12th. The students are prepared for the All India Senior Secondary Examination(AISSE), conducted by the CBSE.
The school aims at imparting knowledge, wisdom, values and life skills to all the students. It provides the right environment for imparting knowledge to the students and building up their character.
