THE SCHOOL MANAGEMENT
St. Xavier's School , Hazaribag , is a Catholic Christian Minority School established in 1952 by the local Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi since 1982.Until then the school was affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination. In 1996 the ownership and management of the school was transferred from Xavier's Hazaribag Association to HAZARIBAG JESUITS EDUCATION SOCIETY(HEJS),
AIMS AND POLICIES
St.Xavier's is a co-educational day school. The language of instruction for the thirteen years of schooling, from Prep to Class XII, is English. Being a minority unaided private institution, the school is dependent on the fees collected from its students for meeting its financial obligations. Hence the school fees are increased periodically to keep up with the rising costs and salaries.
The school is open to all irrespective of caste, creed, or the place of origin, who the school authorities think will share the values it stands for.
ADMISSIONS
St.Xavier's admits those candidates who it believes will respond to the values it stands for and those who will persevere and benefit from the education offered in the school. Applications for admission are to be made on the prescribed form according to the scheduled announced by the school, and are handled by the selection committee constituted for the purpose.

COMPETITIONS
Intra class and interclass competitions in Elocution, Debate, Dance, Quiz, Spelling, Singing, Drawing, Painting, and creative Writing are held once a year according to a pre-announced schedule.
