Kola Saraswathi Vaishnav Senior Secondary School was established in the year 1975. It is a CBSE affiliated institution which is offering education from Pre-KG to grade XII. The school provides quality education to the students and also follows the principles of Hindu religion and culture. It is one of the prestigious institutions in Chennai, shining in the field of education for more than 40 years. Kola Saraswathi Vaishnav Senior Secondary School is a co-educational English medium institution which has good infrastructure, facilities and experienced teachers. The school has also received ISO 9001: 2000 certification in the year 2005 and was upgraded to ISO 9001: 2008 in the year 2009.
Academics The School offers education from pre-primary level to senior secondary level classes. To enhance learning and to develop confidence in children, the school follows X SEED programme for Pre-KG to class V. As per the XSEED programme, the concepts are explained through hands-on experience for the clear understanding of the subjects. English is the compulsory first language in the school. The second and third languages offered in the school are mentioned below
Class I and II: Second language- Tamil; Third language- Hindi
Class III to V: Second language- Tamil/Hindi
Class VI to X: Second language- Tamil/Hindi/Sanskrit
Class VI to VIII: Third language- Tamil/Hindi/Sanskrit
If Tamil is chosen as second language, then Hindi must be selected as the third language. If Hindi is chosen as second language, then Tamil/Sanskrit should be selected as the third language.

Facilities Kola Saraswathi Vaishnav Senior Secondary School has a wide-spread campus with the necessary facilities needed for a comfortable learning. For KG classes, the school has a separate kids block with colorful classrooms and activity rooms. The classrooms in the school are well-furnished and spacious. To conduct practical courses, the school has equipped science laboratory and maths laboratory. Computer laboratory in the school has modern computers with internet facility. The school library is spacious and is well-stocked with a large collection of books.
To conduct prayer and school functions, the school has a spacious, air-conditioned auditorium. To handle emergency medical situations, the school has a first aid cell. Activities and Events The School develops the talent of the students through various cultural and club activities. To promote Indian Art and Culture in the young minds, the school has a cultural academy named as “Vallabh Cultural Academy". The academy teaches yoga, dance, guitar, vocal, violin, table, flute, mirudangam, keyboard, nadaswaram, veena and thavil. After taking an aptitude test, the students of class V to VIII can attend training in any one of the above disciplines. The classes are conducted between 2.20 p.m. and 3.40 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
