L.M Dadha Senior Secondary School was established in the year 1977 and is managed by Dadha and Co Golden Jubilee trust. It is a co-educational institution affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The school curriculum covers both academic and non-academic education. The ultimate goal of the school is to offer excellent education and to cultivate social, civic and moral values into the minds of the students.
AcademicsL.M Dadha Senior Secondary School offers education from Pre.KG to class XII as per the CBSE curriculum. Based on the curriculum, the school provides education to the students on subjects such as English, Tamil, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Science and Computer Science. For higher secondary classes, the school offers education under science stream (Biology, Computer Science) and commerce stream.
The academic excellence of the students from class I to X is evaluated through Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE). Both the academic and non-academic activities of the students will be monitored regularly and will be ranked based on the grading system. InfrastructureL.M Dadha Senior Secondary School covers an area of 1 acre land in Choolaimedu, Chennai. The campus has 3 separate buildings with three floors on each building. The academic buildings of the school has ventilated classrooms and well equipped maths lab, language lab and science lab. To provide computer knowledge to the students, the school has 2 separate air-conditioned labs with modern computers for both secondary and senior secondary classes. The school also has separate physics lab, chemistry lab and biology lab for senior secondary classes. To educate the children through technology the school has audio-visual rooms and n-guru learning center with digital teaching aids. To update the information knowledge the school has a library with vast collection of books. To provide physical education training and coaching on games and sports, the school has playground and separate play area for kids. The school follows fire safety norms and also has RO water plant.
ActivitiesTo teach values of life and to develop the potential skills of the students, the school has active clubs such as Karuna club and Interact club. The school provides coaching to the interested students on games and sports such as basketball, hand ball volleyball, tennicoit, cricket, carom, chess and table tennis. The students are also motivated to participate in activities such as yoga, drawing, music and art. To develop the creativity and talent of the students, the school conducts competitions on elocution, debate, recitation, etc. and also encourages the students to participate in inter-school competitions and intra-school competitions.
