About Fatima Senior Secondary School

Fatima Senior Secondary School is situated in Gonda district near MSITM. It was set up in July 1976 with 46 students. Currently three thousand students are on the roll. The schools is a 3-storey building with 42 classrooms and 5 practical labs. There is a big play ground where students play cricket, football and other sports.

Infrastructure

The school have a well-furnished library with a variety of books available. To inculcate the reading habits among students they are allowed one library period each week and also they can get books issued from the school library of their choice. Moreover, the library is wholly computerized. The school have two computer labs for departing computer education, one for students of pre-nursery to class second and another one is for class 3rd to 12th students. The school also has a well-equipped physics, chemistry and biology laboratory for the sake of imparting practical knowledge. Each classroom is digitalised with projectors and animated videos are shown to students for clarifying difficult concepts. The school has an air-conditioned auditorium for conducting several functions and a built-in podium for delivering speeches and for other activities. To ensure the safety and security of the school the school have security guards standing around the clock. Theses also guard students on excursions and are equipped with radio transistors for quick actions in the case of an emergency.
