About Aga Khan School

Aga Khan School started the journey in 1905 as Gujarati medium school. With the passage of time, the school has now become a full-fledged English medium school. The school is managed by Aga Khan Education Services. The school is affiliated to Gujarat Secondary Education Board. At secondary level, ICSE board curriculum is followed. The current strength of the school is almost 900 students.

Curriculum

The school follows Shishu Pahel Paddhati in pre-primary section. Children are encouraged to plan and develop self-paced learning. Activities are held in order to retain the self-confidence of each student. At primary level, teachers develop the curriculum in respect of every field, so that students can learn more and more. At secondary level, curriculum of ICSE board is followed.

Activities

Students are taken for field trips, excursions to gain practical knowledge. Students are motivated to participate in elocution competitions, debates, science exhibitions, creative writing and the arts in inter-school competitions.

School timings

The school operates five days in a week from Monday to Friday. The school timing for pre-primary school is 09.00 am to 12:30 pm and timing for class I to X is 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
