About Tapovan Sanskar Dham Vidhlaya School

Tapovan Sanskar Dham is a school affiliated to CBSE board and a hostel. It is located at Virwadi, District: Navsari State: Gujarat.
School has classes from standard 5th to 10th. In each class rooms there are minimum 35 to 50 students. School facilities include a huge computer room of 45- 50 students capacity, library, practical labs, play ground, and smart class lab. Teachers here come from nearby local cities and some even from far places. Those teachers coming from far places are given a room to reside in the guest area. Once a month parents and teachers meeting is held so that parents can know their childs performance and also meet their children. Every academic year sports day is also held for 3-4 days in which individual games like lemon and spoon, fast walking, running etc. and team games like cricket, volleyball, kabuki etc. are arranged and winners are awarded with medals and trophies to boost theirs and others confidence.
The residential area of students (hostel) is called Gurukul which has 3 buildings,4 rooms in each building with the capacity of 35-40 students per room. Also a small ground for students to play games and opposite to it there is a big play ground where students can play any games openly. In the gurukul children are under the caretakers called as "Motabhai" and "Masiba". Each class has either one of them as an incharge. They also help students in their studies. And regularly meets the teachers and knows about the childrens progress who are under him/her.
As it is a Jain hostel, students have to strictly follow the guidelines given by their saints and Gurujis. For eg: every morning all the students have to do the Pooja of God Mahavir Swami in the Derasar .There are two derasars in the campus one is big and other one is small. On week days Pooja is done is small derasar and on Sundays and other holidays Pooja is done big derasar. And then listen to Vachna of their Gurujis, do Samayiks , eat jain food without potatoes, onions, garlics etc, have dinner before sunset, and breakfast after sunrise. Here the students are injected with the dose of loyalty, respecting others(specially elders), devotion, to be unselfish etc. by the gurujis so that their life can be properly shaped and can reach their destiny.
The food given is properly balanced, once a week one good food item is made so that children do not get bored eating simple food. Their cafeteria is called "Bhojanshala" which is always free from house flies and fully clean, and even the kitchens are in same conditions .
