Established by Blue Ridge Educational Institute (BREI), Blue Ridge Public School is a co-ed CBSE school from the pre-primary level (Nursery to Senior KG) to Class 10. Security and safety are ensured through continuous monitoring via the surveillance cameras that are strategically located across the campus, support staff making the rounds of corridors, security guards at every entry and exit point, and thorough scrutiny of visitors. Even parents who visit are required to have an escort card before they step inside the campus. The medical room with an in-house doctor is easily accessible from all parts of the campus and an ambulance is available on call for emergencies from the nearby Ruby Hospital. Every classroom also has a first-aid kit.

Nutritious mid-day meals (these are included in the school fee) are cooked in the canteen and served in the classrooms. Bus transport for students is available through an outsourced vendor for students, but it is not mandatory to use the facility.

Admission process

Children can get admission to Nursery at the age of three years, to Jr. KG at the age of four, Sr. KG at the age of five, and Std.1 at the age of six. For subsequent classes, the student should successfully complete the previous academic year.

The first step towards getting admission is to download the admission form from the schools' website and taking a colour printout of it. The completed form has to be submitted at the main foyer of the school with Rs.1000/- to be paid in cash towards the form fee. Documents to be attached include the child's birth certificate, passport size photos, etc. There are also certain self-attested photocopies to be submitted by the residents of the Township to which this school is attached.

Names will be shortlisted through a computerized draw and those selected will receive an email for the further steps of the admission process, which includes submission of additional documents, including the child's Aadhar Card. During this registration process that will take place in the school's admin. block, parents must pay the school fee to confirm their ward's admission. Parents are advised to check the school website to know the inclusions and exclusions of the fee. For those applying through another school, it is necessary to submit a copy of the report card of the previous academic year and of the Transfer Certificate from the previous school.
