About Matunga Premier School

Matunga Premier School is a co-ed English medium school affiliated to the SSC Board (Maharashtra). The Gujarati medium section was established in 1937 and the English medium in 1975. In addition to teaching faculty, there are qualified administrative and auxiliary staff.

Infrastructure

Academics

Pre-Primary years:
This includes Play Group, Nursery & K. G. classes. The children develop social skills and engage in interesting creative and physically playful activities. The curriculum is designed to help them develop their intuition and reasoning.

Primary years: This is from Class 1 to Class 4. The students develop their basic concepts in various subjects and are encouraged to raise questions in the classroom to seek answers.

Admission process

The child seeking admission to Matunga Premier School must fulfil the age criteria as of 1st June of that year. The criteria is as follows:

Junior K. G.: 3 ½ years

Senior K. G.: 4 ½ years

Primary School (1st Grade): 5 ½ years

Admissions forms for Play Group, Nursery and Junior KG are issued by Matunga Premier School in the month of December. Parents can obtain the admission forms from the school office between 9a.m. and 1p.m.
