About Rasmi Residential School for Girls

Rasmi Residential School For Girls in Davangere was established in year 1999. This is one of the finest schools in Davangere Dist of Karnataka. Here they only provide education to girls. The school is run under Dr.D.Parwathappa Memorial trust. This school was built in the memory of Dr D Parwathappa's older daughter, who passed away in an accident.

In this school most of the girls are from illiterate and uneducated families. It is the endeavour of one socially conscious family to provide free basic education to young girls who would otherwise be doomed to a life of illiteracy and ignorance. The school educates girls who would otherwise have no access to quality education and helps them in becoming productive and independent women, who are an asset to the society and the country.
