About Mahendra International School
Mahendra International School (MITS) was started in the year 2011 and is managed by Valliyammal Educational Trust. The school belongs to the Mahendra Group of Institutions which is one of the premier educational institutions in Namakkal. It is a co-educational school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The medium of instructions in the school is English. MITS offers quality education to the students in a caring and secure environment with hi-tech facilities. The ultimate aim of the school is to improve the educational standards and potential of every student to meet the challenges of the outside world. The school also emphasizes on teaching the core life skills, personality development skills and communication skills.
Academics MITS offers education from kindergarten to grade X. For KG classes, the school follows Montessori system of education and the kids are given education on language, mathematics, exercise of practical life, sensorial activities, culture and science. The school focuses on the overall development of the children by imparting "Learning by doing" methodology. From grade I to X, the school strictly follows the NCERT syllabus of the CBSE curriculum. The school teaches academic subjects such as English, Tamil, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Social studies.
As per the norms of CBSE, the academic performance of the students is evaluated based on the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) pattern.
