About Army Public School Ajmer Road

Ever since it was established in July 1992, Army Public School Jodhpur has grown from strength to strength. Starting with classes from Std.1 to 5, today it has classes up to Std.XII. The CBSE school is under the administration of the Army Welfare Society.

Infrastructure and facilities

The 20 acre campus of the Army Public School Jodhpur has over 70 smart classrooms equipped with audio-visual teaching aids in its academic blocks. There are separate activity rooms and libraries for its primary and secondary students. The primary section also has its own computer lab, maths Lab, art & craft room and music room. The secondary section has science labs as well as a lab each for Biotechnology, computers, maths and English language. Additionally, there is a counselling room, a music room, art & craft room, a seminar hall, auditorium and a conference room. A utility block houses the Bank, stationery shop and a cafeteria.

The main school library has over 15,000 books, e-books and educational CDs. Printing facilities are available and the library is fully computerized.

Sports facilities are provided for basketball, volleyball, hockey, handball, football, tennis, table tennis, badminton and Kho-Kho.

Academics and Co-curricular activities

The co-educational school has classes up to Std. XII, with the higher secondary students having the options of science, commerce and humanities.
