About ACME Academy School
Since being established in 1996, Acme Academy has established its own name among reputed institutes in the district of Burdwan in West Bengal. It as an English medium, co-educational, residential cum day-boarding, senior secondary school affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) examination and Indian School Certificate examination for 10th and 12th standard respectively.

Infrastucture & facilities Including its academic and residential Block, teachers' enclave, as well as sports area, the campus of the school is situated on an approx 6-acre area and the infrastructure is built over 1 lakh sq. Ft. All classrooms, library, and laboratories are very spacious, pollution free and sound-controlled. Every classroom is accessorized with interactive smart boards, LCD projectors and HDTV as teaching aids. Facilities of video conferencing lectures and audio-visual lab for powerpoint presentations are also provided.
An excellent library with almost 60000 books on study materials and storybooks is available on the school campus to solve the requirement of students. A computer lab equipped with 25 numbers computer is also provided to make the students expert in the field.
Fire-fighting system and CCTVs fitted with cameras are also provided in the school for the security and safety purpose.
Academic and activities
Every session starts in the month of April and ends in February. The teachers don't only look after the study of the students so that they can get good results in ISCE or ISC examination but they also are a good mentor to help in any situation.
Besides study, various cultural activities like annual function, celebration of Independence Day, Republic Day, etc. are being held in the school. Annual Exhibition is an excellent stage where every student is welcome to expose their talent.
To play various outdoor games like football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, kho kho; required fields or courts are available on the campus. Additionally, facilities for indoor games like table tennis, chess and carom are also provided. A well equipped swimming pool is also there.
