About Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan School

Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan School, Bhiwani was set up in 2003 through a joint collaboration with The Shri Ram School, Gurgaon. The school focuses on experiential rather than totally formal classroom lectures with rote learning. In-depth study of various subjects works alongside problem-solving and other skills' development.

Unique activities

Some of the unique activities in the school are planting a sapling on the birthday of a student or teacher, a fun day with origami, inter-house display board decoration competition, etc. Science and language quizzes, essay and calligraphy contests are conducted, too. Both teachers & students together celebrate festivals and national days annually, such as Lohri, Diwali, Independence Day, Mother's Day, etc. Summer camps and picnics are also organized.

The inter-house competitions are between the four houses, namely Avni (Earth), Payus (Water), Tejas (Fire) and Bayaar (Air).

Infrastructure and Facilities

Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan School is located on the campus of the Haryana School Education Board at Hansi Road, Bhiwani.

Indoor and outdoor sports facilities with separate playing areas for each sport are available. Toddlers have fun in their own play areas, complete with sand pits!

Facilities include a computer centre, a library and resource centre, Art and clay rooms, a computer lab for students and a Yoga Room. A special facility for staff are creche facilities for their kids.

Visiting hours

Parents who wish to meet the school Principal can do so between 9a.m. and 11a.m. They can meet the school teachers at any time during the school hours but must take a prior appointment to do so.
