About Mar Augustine Memorial Higher Secondary School, Koratty.

The MAMHSS, Koratty was started in the year 1945 and is named after Mar Augustine Kandathil who was the longest serving metropolitan and also the head of Syro Malabar church. At first, the school was known as Mar Augustine School which later became a high school and recently a higher secondary school. When it began, it was a non-residential co-ed school and in the year 1970, it became a boy's high school. In recent years, it has been again brought back to the status of co-ed school.
