About Delhi Public School Mihan
Delhi Public School, Mihan-Nagpur is under the administration of Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi. The school follows the CBSE curriculum, being affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. DPS Mihan will start its first academic session this year in the month of June, with classes from the pre-nursery level up to Grade VI.
Fun activities, educational tours, seminars & workshops and personality development programs are scheduled for the students of various classes.
Infrastructure & FacilitiesDPS Mihan's 11.5-acre campus, for which construction began last year in October, is extremely spacious and verdant with greenery. The academic blocks have science labs, computer laboratories and two libraries. Art, Music and Dance rooms bring out the artistic talent of the students. A separate activity room for toddlers ensures good motor development skills.
Sports facilities are available outdoors for cricket, lawn tennis, football and basketball. There are indoor games' facilities too, for chess, table tennis and carom.
Since this is a newly set-up school, parents are advised to visit the campus personally to check out the facilities.
Admission processParents can obtain the school prospectus which contains the registration forms for admission, from the school office between 9 a.m. & 4 p.m. (working days only). Alternatively, online registration can be done at: http://www.dpsmihan.edu.in/enquiry/index.html.
Parents must submit the following documents at the time of registration:
- A photocopy of the child's Birth Certificate (only for admission to pre-nursery up to Class 1). Misplaced the birth certificate? Learn how to apply for a duplicate birth certificate.
- A photocopy of the child's Report Card of the previous class (this is required for Class II onwards).
Subsequent to submitting the registration form, parents will be intimated of the date & time of interaction with the school Principal/Headmistress. Both parents need to attend this interaction along with their child at the school. Provisional admission will be given once the entire process of admission & deposit of fees is completed within the scheduled date. Age criteria for each class is provided at the official website.
