About St. Anthony Girls' High School
Started in 1952, St Anthony Girls' High School is a Christian minority government-aided school from Nursery to Class X. It is under the administration of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambery in the Roman Catholic Church and affiliated with the Archdiocesan Board of Education. Recognised by the Maharashtra State Board of Education, the curriculum prepares Class 10 students for the Board's SSC exams.
Although the school's focus is on the education of the local Catholic community, it does take in students from other all other communities as per availability of seats. Other than striving for academic excellence of its students, the school also instills in them the relevant developmental skills for good character formation.
Infrastructure & FacilitiesThe school has airy classrooms, science labs, a library and playground. There is a large hall for morning assemblies and events. Sports facilities are on campus for volleyball, basketball, badminton, athletics, etc.
Extracurricular activities include debates, quizzes, music, dance, etc. Field trips, camping expeditions, annual sports day and cultural events are regularly organized.
School hoursMonday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 7a.m. to 1p.m. Closed on Thursday and Sunday.
