About Allwin Matriculation Higher Secondary School
Allwin Matriculation Higher Secondary School was established in the year 1993 with an aim to provide quality education in Ramanathapuram district. The school is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu and it offers education from KG to Class XII. It is a co-educational, English medium institution which focuses on delivering academic education and also keeps an eye on cultivating discipline, moral values, and social responsibilities in the minds of the students. The motto of Allwin Matriculation Higher Secondary School is "Educate for eternity".
Academics Education is given to the students from LKG to Class XII as per the syllabus of the Tamil Nadu State Government. Special care and attention are given to the KG kids to attain a high degree of basic skills. For the nursery classes, the school adopts a play way learning methodology. Various learning activities and events are conducted to bring out the talent of the tiny tots. As a token of appreciation, the school also encourages the kids by presenting prizes and awards.
For the primary and middle-class students, the school builds a strong academic foundation by teaching the subjects such as Tamil, English, Mathematics, Science, Social, and Computer education. Facilities The school campus presents a neat, healthy and peaceful learning environment to the students. The classrooms are all spacious and well-furnished. To make learning easier, the school conducts digital classes using the audio-visual equipment. Separate science laboratories, equipped with latest scientific apparatus are available in the school for subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For computer education, the school has a computer lab with A/c and UPS facilities. To gain more subject knowledge and to update the information knowledge of the students, the school has a big library with a lot of books, dailies, magazines and newspapers. Other facilities available in the school are pure drinking water, power backup and conveyance.
Activities To mold the children physically, spiritually and mentally the school organizes personality development classes and also conducts various physical and co-curricular activities. Yoga and Karate classes are conducted for both boys and girls. To develop the social responsibilities of the students, the school has Junior Red Cross (JRC) a student wing which conducts various JRC activities. The clubs conduct various activities and develop the conceptual knowledge and creativity of the students.
