Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Rajaji Vidyashram was started in the year 1977 and is managed by Bhavan's Chennai Kendra. It is a co-educational school which offers education from LKG to Grade XII. The institution is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and it strictly follows the guidelines of the CBSE board. Rajaji Vidyashram is one of the prestigious schools in Chennai which is known for its high quality education. Academics The school follows the CBSE curriculum from grade I to XII. English is the medium of instructions in the school. The second and third languages offered in the school are Tamil, Hindi, Sanskrit and French. The students from class VI to VIII are expected to learn three languages, one of which must be Hindi.

For KG kids, the school has colorful classrooms, activity room and play area. The laboratories are well-furnished and are equipped with the latest equipment. Separate laboratories are available for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer. The school library is well-stocked with many periodicals, magazines, dailies and reference books on various topics.
