|Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Rajaji Vidyashram was started in the year 1977 and is managed by Bhavan's Chennai Kendra. It is a co-educational school which offers education from LKG to Grade XII. The institution is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and it strictly follows the guidelines of the CBSE board. Rajaji Vidyashram is one of the prestigious schools in Chennai which is known for its high quality education. It is noted that the students of Rajaji Vidyashram have achieved consistent 100% results in class X and XII board examination and also have won many awards in the scholastic and co-scholastic activities.|
Academics The school follows the CBSE curriculum from grade I to XII. English is the medium of instructions in the school. The second and third languages offered in the school are Tamil, Hindi, Sanskrit and French. The students from class VI to VIII are expected to learn three languages, one of which must be Hindi.

Facilities Rajaji Vidyashram covers an area of 5 acres land with a built up area of 158840 sq.mts. The school campus is spacious and has well-furnished classrooms and laboratories. For KG kids, the school has colorful classrooms, activity room and play area. The laboratories are well-furnished and are equipped with the latest equipment. Separate laboratories are available for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer. The school library is well-stocked with many periodicals, magazines, dailies and reference books on various topics. The school playground covers an area of 63502 sq.mts and also has facilities to play indoor games such as table tennis, chess and squash. To teach cultural activities, the school has music room and dance room.
Activities The School motivates the students to participate in both the academic and non-academic activities. The clubs that are present in the school are eco club, debate club, interact club, quiz club, literary club, cookery club, robotics, social service, aero modelling and electronic gadgets. The clubs provide wide opportunities for the students to update their knowledge on various fields. The school provides special training to the interested students in sports and games such as cricket, squash, basketball, table tennis, carrom and chess. The students are given opportunities to organize and conduct inter-school debate, inter-school culturals, and inter-school quiz competitions. The school also organizes field trips, trekking, turtle walk and nature walk.
In addition to the club activities and sports, the school encourages the students to attend the talent examinations such as Science Olympiad, Cyber Olympiad, Math Olympiad, Informatics Olympiad, CBSE Maths Olympiad, USO, Assets, British Council Exams, NSEP, NSEC, NSEB, NSEA (National Standard Exams) and Green Olympiad.
The activities conducted after school hours are dance, yoga, cricket, squash, karate, basketball, shuttle, volleyball, football, handball, chess, spoken Sanskrit and handwriting.
