About MPS
Modern Public School was established in the year 1971 by Modern Public School Education Society (Regd.) and is one of the best schools in North Delhi, especially Shalimar Bagh and neighbouring places. The staff is very co-operative and understanding. If you have any complaint or problem, just to the teacher or concerned authority and they will put their best efforts to solve it and satisfy you. Most of the teachers are so supportive and caring that they pay individual attention to each child. Though the studies are tough, still this school is excellent for academic development of a child.
Fees and other charges
Fees can be affordable for a middle class family but affording extra charges (like picnic charges, night camp fees, charges in lieu of co-curricular activities) makes lower middle class family a little irritated. Various educational, entertainment and adventure tours are also organised by school for students of different classes from time to time.
Night camp
The school organises night camp for students of class pre- primary (also known as Nursery in other cities but by this name in Delhi) to Class IV. The camp is organised in November or December each year. Various rides and activities including dance, fashion show, aerobics, etc. are held. Teachers as well as principal accompany the students in school for whole day and night. Night camp is the most awaited and full filled activity for the students.
Infrastructure and transportation
School has a well developed infrastructure. It has well developed laboratories, computer labs, library, etc. Educomp smart classes are also present but they are yet very few in number. Students of each class use them twice or thrice in a week on rotation basis.
