Academics Velalar Vidyalayaa Senior Secondary School offers education from KG to Grade XII. For the KG kids, the school follows the Montessori Method of education and for the students from grade I to XII, the school follows the NCERT books as prescribed by the CBSE board. Both foundation and advanced level coaching classes for NEET/IIT is also be conducted by the school. To enhance the thinking and learning capability of the students, the school adopts Chrysalis curriculum for the KG and primary classes.
The academic excellence of the students will be evaluated based on the performance of the students in scholastic and co-scholastic activities. Periodic assessment which includes periodic tests, group discussions, subject enrichment activity and notebook submission will be considered for evaluation. The subject enrichment activity generally includes Assessment of Speaking & Listening (ASL), Lab Activity, Practical work and activities, map and Project work.
