Parvathy's Anugrahaa International School (PAIS) is a co-educational, CBSE affiliated institution located at Dindigul in Tamil Nadu. The school is managed by N.Parvathy Ammal Educational Trust. The focus of the school is to create good opportunities for students with a global perspective. Education is given to the students in a world-class environment and it also cultivates cultural values, core principles of life and a sense of social responsibility in the minds of the students. PAIS provides holistic education and helps the students to find out their unique and creative talent.
School timings
Pre.KG to UKG: 10.00 am. to 2.30 pm.
Grades I to VIII: 09.00 am. to 4.00 pm.
Grades IX to XII: 09.00 am. to 5.50 pm.
Saturday: 09.00 am. to 4.00 pm. (for Grade III to XII)
Office Timings: 10.00 am. to 5.30 pm.
For KG to Grade II, the school will remain closed on all Saturdays and for other grades, only second Saturday will be a holiday.
Academics
Anugrahaa offers education from Pre.KG to Grade XII as per the standard guidelines of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). For the Kindergarten classes, the learning process is pure activity-based and the school conducts classes to the kids in an interactive child-centred environment. To the primary level (Grade 1 to 5) students, the basics of education is very important and hence the school focuses on the development of Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening skills of the students.
Deep knowledge about the subjects must be given to middle school (Grade 6 to 8) students and so the school implements the concept of mind mapping, through which they help the students to link ideas and develop them elaborately to gain deep subject knowledge. To further understand the concepts clearly, the school also encourages the students to do a lot of creative projects, research work and other academic-related activities. For the evaluation of the academic performance of the students, the school follows the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) pattern of the CBSE board and thus involves the students into both scholastic and co-scholastic activities including sports and games.
Facilities
PAIS offers a global learning environment for students with good facilities and infrastructure. The classrooms in the school are equipped with smart TV and smart board to conduct interactive learning sessions with the help of the technology. The school library has a huge collection of books for all the grade levels. To promote the reading habit of the students, the library also has a reading room. To conduct personal grooming sessions, creativity classes and career-oriented workshops, the school has a life skills centre. Also, the school has indoor auditorium and Audio-Visual (AV) centre to host a lot of scholastic and co-scholastic activities.
Integrated Science Laboratory is available in the school to help the students gain knowledge of science by performing various scientific experiments. Information Technology lab and Math lab are the other laboratories present in the school. The school also has an art studio, dance studio and music centre to teach art and crafts, dance and music. Separate play area, courts, field stadium and outdoor tracks are available inside the school premises to play indoor games and sports such as skating, volleyball, football, hockey, cricket, basketball, badminton etc. The school has a dining hall and it serves to serve hygienic and nutritious vegetarian meals to the students under the supervision of a trained dietician. Transport facility is provided for the students who are residing within a 30Km radius of the school.
Activities
To help the students explore their individual skills and talent, the school conducts a lot of co-curricular activities and also has a separate sports team and student clubs. Sports and games help the students to stay active and healthy and also achieving in sports will build the confidence of the student. So, keeping the well-being of each and every student in mind, the school offers training in various sports and games such as basketball, squash, tennis, cricket, gymnastics, skating, athletics, carrom, chess and table tennis. As a part of the co-scholastic activities, the school involves the students into activities such as yoga, art and craft, dance and music.
To encourage the hobbies of the students, the school has various clubs such as Eco Club, Fitness Club, Cinematography, Math Club, Choir Club, Quiz Club, Adventure Club, Reading Club, Cricket Club, Soccer Club, DIY Club and NSS. The students are free to join any club based on their interest and liking. To help the students learn the real-life situation and to understand the life beyond the textbook, the school organizes picnics, tours and educational field trips every academic year. Also, the school has introduced the concept of movie time.
