About Modern Senior Secondary School, Nanganallur

Modern School, as it is popularly called, had its genesis in a Kindergarten in 1968 (Modern Kindergarten School). It is steadily grew into Modern Higher Secondary and Kindergarten School and ultimately graduated into Modern Senior Secondary School. It has been affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, from July - 1977. The first batch of students took the Standard X Board Examination in March 1980 and the Standard XII Board Examination in March 1982. Results in the Board Examinations are given in the section : RESULTS.

The School celebrated its Silver Jubilee (25 years) in the year 1993 - 94 and its Pearl Jubilee (30 years) in the year 1998 - 99.
