The erstwhile Shaurya Army Pre School has been renamed as Ranbankura Army Pre-Primary School in the year 2007 the school has a total student strength of around 500 from all the classes.

The school is an establishment under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society the school is authorised to conduct the classes Lower Kindergarten and Upper Kindergarten each of classes has 5 sections.
