Manav Rachna International Schools or simply MRIS are a chain of coeducational English medium schools under Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI) founded by the visionary Dr. OP Bhalla. The group has its schools at various other locations in northern India. The names of these schools are MRIS Sector 51 Gurugram, MRIS Eros Garden – Charmwood Village Faridabad, MRIS Sector-14 Faridabad, MRIS Sector-21C Faridabad, MRIS Sector-51 Noida, MRIS Ludhiana and MRIS Mohali.
MRIS Sector-46 Gurugram, established in 2008, is part of this illustrious chain of schools. The school provides for education from pre-nursery (toddlers) to class 12. Just like its sister schools, Manav Rachna International school Gurugram Sector-46 aims to provide the best quality education to its pupils with world-class infrastructure, learning aids, and excellent sports facilities. School timings For pre-nursery or toddlers – 9 am to 12:45 pm Nursery & KG – 7:45 am to 12:45 pm Classes 1-12 – 7:45 am to 2:45 pm
The above timings are applicable at all the branches of MRIS, except for MRIS Mohali, where the timings are different since it is a day boarding school.
Facilities & infrastructure As has been mentioned above, the MRIS group of schools provide the best infrastructural facilities to their students for academics as well as sports. The campus is a digital one and centrally air-conditioned. The classrooms are all smart, networked, and provided with interactive boards and projectors. The usage of computers and the internet is at the fullest. A lot of teaching is done through PowerPoint presentations and animations. Every teacher is allotted with a laptop, so as to keep them abreast of the latest developments in their respective discipline. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and the students get full access to ICT based programs. The school has the most modern computer lab. There are labs for every discipline, be it science, math, or languages. The library is well-equipped. The students are often taken for field trips for outdoor-based learning. There are parent link programs too, helping the parents to actively participate and monitor the progress of their child. Besides academics, the teaching curriculum focuses on developing attributes like character, leadership qualities, sportsman spirit, and creativity.
Among the sports facilities available with the school are a variety of games like skating, volleyball, football, basketball, cricket, shooting range, gymnastics, and martial arts. Indoor games like table tennis, badminton, chess, etc are also available. MRIS-46 Gurugram also has facilities for swimming. The best synthetic courts are used for facilities like badminton.

Among other facilities available is a medical room with a full-time doctor to provide first aid in case of emergencies. There are regular medical check-ups for students as well as staff. Eye and dental check-ups are regular features. There are health awareness campaigns from time to time.
The school provides for an air-conditioned fleet of buses, equipped with CCTV and GPS. The buses also have a first-aid kit and a fire extinguisher. The entire campus is CCTV protected and installed with fire extinguishers at various locations. Mock fire and safety drills are conducted from time to time.
Admissions at MRIS The following procedure is followed at all its schools for admission. Admissions are available for candidates from the early years (toddlers) to class 11. Parents first need to fill an online inquiry form that is available at the website page https://mris.edu.in/contact-us/# giving all the necessary details of their child. The school will contact the parents, as and when admissions are open. The parents will then have to submit a registration form along with the necessary registration fees. For toddlers to KG, the selection will be based on the general observation of the child and interaction. Students for class 1 and above will have to sit for a written test.
There are certain criteria that every candidate needs to fulfill for admission at any of the schools at MRIS.
Age criteria For early years – 2.6 to 3.6 years Nursery – 3.6 to 4.6 years KG – 4.6 to 5.6 years
For selection to class 2 and above, other than the written test results, the candidate's previous year's performance too will be taken into account. For class 11 candidates, their results in the 10th board exam will define, which stream they get, whether science (med./non med.), commerce, or humanities.
