About Manav Rachna International School – Sector 51, Noida

Manav Rachna International School, Sector 51 Noida, which also goes by the name MRIS 51 Noida, is one of the best CBSE schools in the region. It is part of the Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI) which has established various schools and colleges in different cities in northern India. The first of the institutions were established by Dr OP Bhalla, some 23 years back. MRIS-51 Noida, established in 2011, has classes ranging from the toddler section (pre-nursery) to class 12. Like its other sister schools, it is affiliated to CBSE, is co-educational and teaches in English medium.

The seven other schools under the MRIS group of schools are MRIS Gurugram Sector 51, MRIS Eros Garden – Charmwood Village Faridabad, MRIS Sector-14 Faridabad, MRIS Sector-46 Gurugram, MRIS Sector-21C Faridabad, MRIS Ludhiana and MRIS Mohali. Every MRIS institution has the best in infrastructure and facilities. Facilities & infrastructure

The facilities and infrastructure at MRIS 51 Noida are similar to those available at other Manav Rachna International Schools. It is worth mentioning that the school has a safe and secure surrounding, aided by CCTV cameras mounted at all prime locations. To ensure the security of the students during travel, the buses are equipped with CCTV cameras as well as GPS. The teaching staff is well-qualified and trained. The teacher-student ratio is one of the highest. Sick bays are available to provide first-aid and emergency care to the students. Like in other MRIS schools, the learning here is not simply scholastic but oriented towards problem-solving, decision making and building interpersonal skills. The focus is not only on becoming a good student but a good citizen as well. The faculty here focuses on skill development, be it sports, creativity, soft skills, visual arts, performing arts and so on. Projects, workshops and educational tours are the norms. With its air-conditioned ambience, at its classrooms and buses, learning here is all the more fun.

Other than the usual sports like football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, TT, gymnastics, etc., the school provides for a squash court and Mat Kabaddi. These 2 games are available only at MRIS 51 Noida.

Admissions

The admission process and the age criteria are the same as in other schools of the group. Parents to ensure that their child fulfils the age criteria set by the school. For admission purposes, the age is computed as on 31st March. For grade 11, the students can opt for science (medical/non-medical), humanities or commerce stream depending upon their class 10 board results. For class 1 and above, the students will have to appear for an admission test.
