About Diamond Harbour Bharat Sevasram Sangha Pranab Vidyapith School
The Bharat Sevasram Sangha, founded by Acharya Srimat Swami Pranabanandaji Maharaj in 1917, needs no introduction. All over India and outside, the Sangha is dedicated to the cause of humanity. Imparting quality education among students, particularly belonging to the underprivileged sectors, has always been one of the prime goals of the Sangha, and that is why they have established lots of schools all over the country.
In tandem with the mission and the vision of the Bharat Sevasram Sangha, Srimat Swami Yoganandaji Maharaj founded a school in the Roynagar area of Diamond Harbour in 1963, which came to be known as Diamond Harbour Bharat Sevasram Sangha Pranab Vidyapith. It is one of the prime institutions of the locality offering quality education in the vernacular medium. The Secondary and the Higher-Secondary sections of the school are duly recognized by and affiliated to, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) and the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) respectively. At present, the total number of enrolments is around one thousand. The students of this school have regularly secured good results in the board examinations, helping the school carving its own niche in the local education.
