Parle TilakVidyalaya Association's English Medium School is a co-ed school located on the same campus as Paranjape Vidyalaya at Vijaynagar, Andheri (East). It started functioning academically in June 2017 with a small class of 16 in Class 1. It has received sanction from the State Education Department to conduct classes up to Class 12 and is accordingly offering the S.S.C. curriculum. The school organizes picnics and excursions within the city, as also holds exhibitions within the campus. Festivals and important days like Independence Day and National Science Day are celebrated with cultural programs or exhibitions. School facilitiesThe school has the basic facilities of large classrooms with charts on the walls on various subjects and creative work done by the students. A fair-sized hall has a small stage and a projector with a microphone for audio-visual presentations. E-learning takes place at the computer lab and also in the audio-visual room. The students enjoy outdoor games and sports in the large playground, where also the annual meet is held.
Timings at the school Students have to attend school daily from Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 12.25 noon and Saturday is a holiday. Parents are welcome to meet the Principal, but only on Fridays and strictly only with a prior appointment, between 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
How to apply for admission Parents can obtain the school admission form from the school office and the completed form should be submitted as per the schedule along with the relevant documents. Note that for the verification process, the original birth certificate of the child should also be produced, and the certificate will be retained by the school admin. as per norms. In case the child is seeking admission after attending another school previously, then a school leaving certificate will be required to be submitted.
