About Ramsheth Thakur Public School, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai

Ramsheth Thakur Public School, Kharghar in Navi Munbai area was established in the year 2009 and is situated in a spacious location at Sector-19. It is a co-education school privately run by Janardan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha (J.B.S.P. Sanstha), Panvel, Raigad. It offers classes from Primary to class XII. J.B.S.P. Sanstha was established in the year 1992 and started its first school in Panvel city and Ramsheth Thakur as the founder chairman. Today there are 21 institutes in Panvel and Navi Mumbai area.

Facilities

The school is spread over 2.2 acres. It has smart classrooms with audio-visual and other presentation facilities. There is an assembly area, a seminar hall, and a conference hall. For small kids there is a toy room. There is a dance and music room. For physically disabled persons, ramps are provided at convenient locations. CCTVs are installed at all strategic points for keeping a vigil inside the school campus.

There is a spacious library with about 3000 books covering various subjects. Magazines and periodicals are also available.

There are five laboratories in the school pertaining to Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Computer. About 40 students can be accommodated in science labs while 45 students can be accommodated in Computer lab.

Students get to participate in various activities like Annual day, republic day, Independence Day, and sports day. For the pre-primary students, activities like clay moulding, poster making, germination activities, monsoon trekking, outing, fancy dress, dandiya dance, Sanskrit sloka reciting, solo singing, quiz time, different colour days etc are held from time to time. For the students of Primary to class XII activities like - Sanskrit sloka reciting, solo and group singing, rakhi making, poster making, spellathon, science activity (science models), quiz, rangoli competition, diya making, salad making etc. are held.

Students are encouraged to participate in various indoor and outdoor games, with tournaments held from time to time.

If seats are available then the detailed admission process would be informed by the school and the parents have to submit the necessary application form along with the required documents. For new admissions one-time fee of Rs 20,000 as admission fee is charged. Monthly fees vary ranging from Rs 2000 to Rs 4200 for pre-primary to class XII.
