About Chatrabhuj Narsee School
Established by the Methibai Devraj Gundecha Foundation, Chatrabhuj Narsee School (CNS), Mumbai is a co-educational English medium school from the pre-primary level to Class 12.
With a beautiful national park as a backdrop, the school provides quality education in an academic ambience where formal learning and informal activities provide good stimulation for the wholesome development of the children.
Formal and informal academic life at CNS Students from KG to Class 10 of Chatrabhuj Narsee School, Mumbai follow the Cambridge curriculum.
At the pre-primary level, which includes Nursery, Junior KG and Senior KG, the little ones' activities are organized to enhance their sensory and motor skills alongside learning alphabets and numbers. The primary school students from Grade 1 to Grade 5 study English, Math, Science, Hindi, Marathi, Computers, and Global Perspectives. Informal classes are of physical education and games, drama, music, dance, and Art and Craft. French and Spanish are the foreign languages for Grades 4 and 5. History and Geography are introduced for Grades 6 to 8, which are the lower secondary school level and the individual sciences of Physics, Chemistry and Biology is for Grade 8 students. The students of Class 9 and 10 follow the Cambridge Upper Secondary IGCSE curriculum, for which they must study at least seven subjects, with the school deciding which subjects to offer or drop as per the number of students interested in them. Having recently got the required authorization to be an IB World School, CNS now also offers the two-year (Grade XI and XII) International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.
Then there are cultural and co-curricular activities across all Grades, providing for a fun learning environment. Sports offered are badminton, basketball, athletics, handball, chess, football, swimming and cricket. Over the weekend and after regular school hours, students can enroll for additional activities, such as for robotics, language enhancement, Fine Arts, etc for an additional fee.
CNS infrastructure The campus of Chatrabhuj Narsee School, Mumbai has a multi-purpose auditorium, a health-care center, a swimming pool, science labs, computer and language labs, a library with reading nooks, a cafeteria and stationery store, individual rooms for the performing arts, etc. The outdoor sports area has demarcated spaces for a basketball court, a turf-laden field for football, an athletics track, etc. CCTV has been installed at strategic locations on the campus as well as in the school buses.

CNS admission procedure Admission at Chatrabhuj Narsee School, Mumbai begins with an online registration, filling in the required details of the student and parents, and submitting the relevant documents. These are:
